  1. I am considering traveling to Atlanta's Dragoncon. I have questions. Will you have more items to sign other than your books and photos from your website such as posters & photos from "Race with the Devil" or " Kolchak: The Night Stalker". What times will you and Kathryn be signing? How much will autographs cost? I plan on buying some of the items from your website in person. I was just curious and I am looking forward to meeting my favorite witch LOL. P.S. Will there be photo ops?

  2. Hi, Lara -

Very much looking forward to reading Wolf Moon Rising. Someone previously suggested the Barnes & Noble in Joliet, IL. The B & N in nearby Orland Park (home of MPI Video) would be even better!

To be honest, although you've always been my DS favorite, I did not have high expectations when I purchased Angelique's Descent. But I could not put it down, and after the Salem Branch, I'm hooked on your books. Keep writing - I can't wait for the 4th one!

  5. Hi, Lara! I very much enjoyed your visit to Booksellers of Laurelwood in Memphis tonight. Your reading of the prologue to "Wolf Moon Rising" was great! I'm about to start reading it before bed tonight. Thanks so much for signing my book and the photo op (I'm the guy who came up from Tupelo). :-D

  7. On behalf of all the Central Florida Dark Shadows fans, I wanted to give you a huge thank you for coming down to Orlando for your booksigning. I know you had a long weekend at Dragoncon - but you were so generous with your time here. The meet and greet at Barnes and Noble went from 5:30 pm to 7pm and you signed and posed for fan pictures from 7pm til almost closing at 10 pm. With people filtering in pretty much all evening, I had a tough time getting an exact headcount - but my last count was at least 85 people. I was sure we would have a fine turnout - but the size of the crowd even exceeded my expectations. I know Barnes and Noble sold plenty of books (I'll try to get a final count for you later) - they had to be thrilled! And you certainly made the day for many of your longtime fans who never had the opportunity to meet you in person until this week. Glad I was able to help out and THANK YOU.... You rock. Patrick.

  8. As a fan of Dark Shadows who "ran home from school" every day to catch each episode in its original run, I would like to thank you for the really lovely dedication in Wolf Moon Rising. I'm halfway through the book and thoroughly enjoying it - trying to read slowly so as to savor it. My husband likes to remind me that if I finish it too soon, I'll have a bit of a wait for your next one! I laughed out loud when Nathanial tells David what he knows about the Collins family, mentioning a "short-lived TV show". Outstanding!

  9. I just finished reading the new book !!! I bought the entire DS collection when it became available on Amazon so have been rushing home most evenings watching the old episodes....I had not seen them since I was a teen. It has been such a wonderful experience. Thank you Lara, so much for writing these novels. I have thoroughly enjoyed them and am hoping you already are working on the next one. I love your style and I can see how thoughtful you were to each character. I loved how you added the " Hollywood" star touch to Elizabeth's character as a tribute to the great actress Joan Bennett. That was such a lovely way to pay tribute to her !!!
